Increasing Engagement: How Board Members Can Inspire Action Through Stories
Every member of your board has a unique story that inspires their engagement. The ability to clearly communicate that enthusiasm can be an incredible tool to motivate potential donors, volunteers, and collaborators. Over the course of this two-session workshop, board members will learn various narrative techniques, take part in exercises and discussions, and have a chance to share and refine their story with the group.
Proving Your Character: Building Stronger Relationships at Work
Perfect for interns or new/recent-hires, the stories created here focus on how the participant’s personal values align with the values of your organization. In this two-hour team and skills-building workshop, participants will learn why story structure works and four key elements to every good narrative. They will then have a chance to put these elements into practice through fun exercises. The stories started here can be used to connect with mentors, co-workers, clients, or other key stakeholders.
